Sweet Clover is a charming work set in Chicago. The novel follows the love story of the beautiful heroine Clover Bryant and Jack and the conflicts they've to overcome to be together. It is set during the 1893 great fair, made famous by the first Ferris Wheel, Cracker Jacks, the first voice recording, and more. American novelist's fantastic imagery in the novel takes the readers on a beautiful journey to the past where the great fair took place. She gave her characters a unique personality in such an incredible way none of them overshadows the other. The side characters are just as enjoyable as the main ones.
